My name is Darren Scott and I live near Rugby in the UK.

I’m a senior software engineer working for a global tier-1 investment bank in Canary Wharf, London where I specialise in application development for electronic markets systems. My particular area of expertise lies in user interface design and development particularly using Java Swing.

I’m also unashamedly a geek!

Outside of work I have a (some say unnatural!) fascination with helicopters – I fly radio control helicopters when I get time – and also have an interest in web development, photography, music – both listening to and playing piano/keyboard and drums (I am an Associate of The Victoria College of Music in Electronic Organ) – and the odd game or two on my PS4 console. Oh, and spending time with my fantastic family too!
